From Lynchburg/Roanoke: Route 460

  • Follow 460 East through Lynchburg.
  • Take the Amherst exit, which is the new Route 29. Follow Route 29 North towards Charlottesville.
  • Once in Amherst, take the exit for Route 60 East towards Richmond. (This exit is not numbered, but is the exit after the Sweet Briar College exit.) Drive .8 miles.
  • Turn right onto Dulwich Drive.
  • Turn left onto Union Hill Road. Drive 1 mile.
  • Turn right onto Ebenezer Road. Drive 1.5 miles.
  • Turn right onto London Lane. This is the entrance to Poplar Grove Golf Club, flanked by dual stone walls. Drive .9 miles.
  • Turn left onto Tavern Lane. Proceed to the parking lot straight ahead.

From Lynchburg: Route 29 North Business

  • Follow Route 29 North Business towards Amherst/Charlottesville.

  • Turn left onto Union Hill Road — approximately 1.5 miles before Route 29. Look for VDOT’s blue sign for Poplar Grove Golf Club.
  • Turn right onto Ebenezer Road. Drive 1.5 miles.
  • Turn right onto London Lane. This is the entrance to Poplar Grove Golf Club, flanked by dual stone walls. Drive .9 miles.
  • Turn left onto Tavern Lane. Proceed to the parking lot straight ahead.

From Lexington

  • Follow Route 60 East towards Amherst.
  • Turn right onto Dulwich — approximately 1 mile past Route 29.
  • Turn left onto Union Hill Road. Drive 1 mile.
  • Turn right onto Ebenezer Road. Drive 1.5 miles.
  • Turn right onto London Lane. This is the entrance to Poplar Grove Golf Club, flanked by dual stone walls. Drive .9 miles.
